Recently fitted a Manual boost controller. Was running 12psi. But the problem bing it was unreliable boost. I fluctated from anything as low as 6psi, to spikes of 15psi. It also casued to car to have the old over boost prob. I removed it and it has that sudden mid range rush at 2700rpm back... biggrin.gif

QUESTION, my turbo is on open boost at the moment and it still runs ok withought hitting the boost cut limit if i manage to keep the revs high enough, but still my boost levels are low at 1st gear and gradually build up, 1st gear its about 6 pounds and then drops when it runs out of breath and every higher gear i get more bosst up to 15 pounds of 4th and 5th. Does anybody have the same problem? or maybe its coz of my big cooler.
i want more power even though ive beaten a Vl turbo, an SS VT V8 commodore and all these shitty Vtec hondas.

Hey sabbaini was just having a look at your pic of your BOV and comparing it to that of turbo boys which place is the best to mount it? I can tell right away his is easiest but yeah which place is better?

FADZ I just asked you the question you put here before your profile but like u said your boost is varible smile.gif so that explains what I was asking.. Still though? Are you running and after market ecu or anything?

Hey Zorbs, It doesn't really matter where you mount your BOV, just as long as it can vent all the air.

Thank's SABBAI, your car looks awesome especially the wheels just sets it off. my car had done 155 000 k's on the clock when i bought it. i blew the motor at 160 000 k's because of a heater hose. So had to re-build whole motor - new rings & bearings, and also got the cylinder head machined because it was warpped from the heat. Also bought new clamps and hoses for it. So far i've only done 1000 k's since re-build.

Take it easy for about 1500km. Then progressively give it a bit more. You may also want to do a oil and filter change about now. You'll be amazed at the amount of crap comes out after a rebuild. Depending on Were you are, there are a few exhaust places. I know that EVLTX5 likes Dandy Exhaust, and there is Ferndale Exhaust.

I've been to these guys a few times now.
