Does anyone know of a reliable, honest mechanic in Sydney who can do a reasonable and guaranteed job on My noisy hydrolic lifters in my Mazda Protege at a reasonable price?

Do they all have to be changed?

What is the cause?

Is there an alternative? ie Thick oil, thin oil, or perhaps no oil at all?

Domenics Retreads on Newbridge Rd
its part of Nader Petroleum

this guy was an apprentice yrs ago and finally bought the business
he has been there for almost 20yrs and the guy is Italian a family man and honest as anything
his rates are competitive and i recommend anyone to use him he does most work except tranxmissions

1. Oil flush
2. New Oil filter
3. Full synthetic oil (ultra helix, mobil 1)

hopefully that removes the deposits that are restricting oil flow, hla noise is also a symptom of low oil pressure, might want to check that out too if the oil change doesnt resolve the issue.
