There is a recently signed up user to this forum that got me a little confussed when he started tooting his own horn via PMs....
Anyhoo... long story short, I wasn't convinced he owned the car he claimed.
Anyway, I traced back the source of one of the pics that were sent to me to a car club's site, and found the profile from which the image came from.
Just incase I was WAY OFF the mark at this point, I sent off an email to the sites owner to check the details of the car and who owns it right now....
This was my email...
Hey matey,
I help run a site over at www.totalrpm.com and I've had a new member sign up with a picture of your car claiming to be its owner.
A few things he said about the car didnt add up and the pictures he's provided seem to be different cars. It didn't take much effort to see he was using the pic from your Social Fbody site. I just wanted to see if you still owned your car and what details you can give me about it.

Yup, I still own the one on the right, without any graphics. If you know anyone who would like a total project (nothing stock) 383 T-trim '95 Z28 6 speed, let me know. The profile on the Socal F-body site is an old one. It's been rebuilt since then. Currently registered non-op in CA....

Now i know im being fairly petty with all this but Jim here has put alot of time, effort and money into building a very nice car.... Just for some attention seeker to claim it for himself, and still get all the details wrong.
Meh.... Im kinda over it now. It just got me a little pissed off i guess.

some clown in town tried to claim that "he" owns my car ... funnily enought my mate he tried to convince knew that i would never sell my car ...
