size of rims are 17 inch, stud pattern is 5 x 100, don't know offset. Mine are from a wrx. just call up your local tyre store they can tell you what offset the camry is and go from there.

The rims cant be from a wrx, the offset is all wrong. im looking for rims as well and the offset for a camry is 35-38 and a wrx is 40-50 so, i dont know how u got them on ur car. did u modify to fit them??

to kevman: lost to most things running over my boost level, some plates iv'e lost to, if anyone is interested, BANNED(on mid boost), SLEEK GTS, SYK 33.

to TRDCamry: the rims are 100% wrx, I used spacers to bring the wheels out a bit (spacers are about 10mm thick.) other than that they fit and work well. they provide good grip.

Yeah man i'm in WA. mod plates?!? WTF? I've got engineers certificate and mod PERMITS.
Cops pulling me over...

Police pulling over exsessivly loud camry....................Worrying
Police asking for drivers licence.................................slightly stressed
Police asking to lift the bonnet..................................very worrying
Police shining tourch into engine bay.........................disconcerning
Police saying that the engine and mods are illegal......Meh
Handing the Police engineer cert and mod permits......Classic
Watching police leave in shame................................Priceless

I had once fooled two cops into beliving that the car was an import and all things where stock. One cop saw the permit list and therefore couldn't bust me for anything and then started going off about some loose wires, to pretend he was hot shit.
Cops are a funny bunch, if they don't know what it is or havn't seen it often, then it must be illegal. VL commodores for example, can be in the worst condition but because they see many in the same condition they ignore the faults and continue on.

Nice story..i got one about a mate with a vl turbo and cops pulling him over....cop-"why is your radiator so far in front"........mate-"thats not a radiator its a intercooler"......cop-"whats an intercooler?".......mate-"it cools down the charged air made by the turbo".......cop-"whats a turbo?"........ wacko.gif ..

Another true story....an cop car pulled over a work place health and safety officer for speeding...$180 bucks or sumthun....just as the smart arse cop was walkin away the bloke said hey...."your parked slightly on the road and you don't have witches hats out.....that'll be $300.....also walking out onto a busy highway while working without a safety vest...another $300".....

yeah you could say the look on his face was priceless

hey i noticed that your blow off valve is a trumpet..i thought they were illegal.....don't you have to get them plumbed back to be legal?

not a true story *lol* its full of shit the work place one is an old email the guys name in it was false occ health and safety had never heard of a officer with that name and the cop involved was a retired officer whom had been out of the force for 10years is a funny story though would be great if it was true smile.gif

The BOV was passed over pits at the time of permits and engineers cert, the dude said that as long as it's not loud it is ok. I can make mine quite due to it not opening till higher boost levels. still makes a small noise at lower but not as obvious. Hell I dont care pits paseed my car so stick it up any copper that says otherwise.

With the spacers does it give u enough thread to put the wheel nuts on? Why r u using spacers for, does it rub on the insides?

Best one was with a VL turbo that had had about $20k of just engine work done to it, and I was having boost problems, and I beat him, not once, not twice, but about 8 or so times. That was absolute bloody funny as all hell.

Somehow if he has spent $20K on his motor alone he would flog you unless he spent $20K dressing up the motor or unless he had wheelspin throughout the whole race.

exhaust manifold and turbo cover???... Errrr with the 3sgte engine (from a st185 halfcut) thats in the car!!!!!
with the spacers it still gives plenty of room for nuts, as the camry wheels bolts are quite long in comparison to other cars.

OR unless I spent the same money on mine and have a 500kg lighter car. DIR. even with boost problem i was making 195hp. so 195hp/1300kg VS. 220hp/1850kg. Do the math.

I don't think that for $20K his straight six turbo is only producing 220hp i estimate around 350hp plus. Do you always have to speak so harsh u little turd.
