| hey bro, i was wonderin what size is that intercooler and how much did it set you back,i've got some hks stainless piping hooked up but im waitin to get a intercooler and i was told i could only fit a 500x200x75mm core. is that about right. also how much cash you reckon you've spent on it? |

the intercooler was done by VMS in ashley street (in the west burbs).... the intercoller i got for free from the shop.... but the piping is all mandrel and goes from 2" from the cooler to 3" leading up to the throttle body. not sure about the size but those measurements u posted sound just about rite if the thermo-fan at the front is still connected. Im relocating mine to the back of the radiator soon, and repacing the cooler with a hybrid item.... not really sure how much ive spend on the car at this stage....

just wondering did you happen to get the grill mesh put on by VMS? Plus how much did that cost anyways coz mi thinking about getting it done there?
As for your rims, Man are cops giving you shit man coz they're massive man, i'm worried about putting 17's on my tx5? Anyways hope to hear from ya soon !  |

hey dude...
the gril mesh was done by myself.... i just cut the middle ribs on the grill to open it up then i just used mesh from autobarn and cut it to proper size. takes like 10 minutes to do =)
the rims sit just fine in the car so long as i keep to flat roads... hehehe, the bumps are felt o lot more since the rims and the lowering, but i will be putting adjustables for the car hopefully by end of the year. (either whiteline or something oz made.)
so ur putting on rims on ur tx ey?? welp, i had 17's b4 and i had no trouble at all, even from cops. 205/40/17 is the biggest and widest LEGAL rim u can put on, anything beyond that and ur liable for a canary.... but if the cops dont pick on the rims they're gonna fined something else to dick u for... hehehehe, cheers bro.... post some pick of ur ride when u can |

| oi ic you put the mesh on yaself, na i was just wondering thats all coz i work at Autopro in Footscray and i usually pass on business to Vms, but i've never actually seen there work there up close. If you ever around in Footscray pop in man i wanna check it ya ride i wanna see it up close. Who knows man i might give ya a discount hehe just ask for Hai alright dude! |

| yeah no worries man just let me know what you after and i'll look into it for. I just got this a guy a APEXI boost controller for his prelude for $220 which he got quoted $500 down at autobarn so he was lucky to find me. |

| hehehe... yeh i came no long ago but not on the weekend, i forgot wat i came in for though... i think i had to buy paint or something, anyways, yeh ill pop by in the next couple of weeks for the muffler, im just waiting for next pay... ive seen ur car around, the last time i saw it was during the chinese new year near the docklands.... good job on the car dude, looks quick and clean.... have u ever checked out VMS and their workshop?? im usually there on wekends so pop by if u get a chance..... cheers mate |

yeh i did i had to runsome erands that day.. i wanted to pop by but the rain was too much i couldnt be bothered getting out of the car once i got back in it... hehehehe

| nice car.. i like it.. i think ur the only other tx5 with a big cooler, nice. Do you get less boost on early gears? i do, i think its the cooler being too big. i dunno if youve noticed, and you know the place where your number plate yoused to sit in the middle.. its easy if you wanna cut it off just look at my car its a straight line . i copped a canary anyway and a fine for number plate being on the side now i gota put it in the middle again. cheers. |
