This is for all those Young guys out there, I know when i got my licence back in 96/97 all the guys in my area were buying mid 80s fast cars, sure there were twin cam's and v6 or v8 that could give them a run for there money (in stock form mind you) but when these cars had a few bucks thrown at them they were super quick street weapons. Give us your pick or add your own choice

toyota starlet would be my choice if they were readily available, unfortunately they werent sad.gif Cordia would have to be the pick in terms of potential i think, esp those early models.

I had to say ET pulsar
went like a rocket just add intercooler off a Mazda Mx-6 14psi untill stock turbo blows then t25 or T28 or what I had one off a R33 GTS-T boost 22psi No one keeps up. untill you blow the engine
But VL turbo's I still think rule in terms of what you get once you go 12psi with intercooler and 3inch exhaust. Go the full hog and high 12's don't cost you more then $5000. The best thing is to get a Stock VL or Skyline R31 and use the high compresson 9.0:1 with 14psi intercooler ported head and hi flow or T4 turbo
hello high MPH.

lol yup... you cant really compete with modded vl turbos unless they have a leak in there intercooler piping laugh.gif fark to make an mx6 get into the twelves i imagine you need something along the lines of

large wrx turbo or t3/t4
port and polished head
heaps of psi
larger injectors
after market ecu
front mount ic
yadda yadda yadda blink.gif

bleh... 13's are good enough for meh tongue.gif

true facts but even stock they are good but what you give away for in a good engine is crap car both Skyline and VL. you get into a Skyline and you think 80's Madona Big hair 16 year old kylie cool.gif rolleyes.gif but that's what makes the Mx-6's a great buy everything what do new cars have that they don't Traction control but who needs that anyway it's only for whimps.
You get Power everything A/C turbo motor independant Rear alot of cars now have gone sold rear again just don't drive the wheels. I don't like that. IRS is the best
sold beam mad.gif what are they thinking ABS as well

Can some of you post images or links to images of these cars, here in the states we rarely ever see or hear of these. All we get are the SLOW versions. unsure.gif

Sure we have all that and a bag of chips. dry.gif

But as for OEM performance, we never see what is available in Japan, Australia and othe parts of Europe.

Unless you by a Mustang, Camaro or Trans Am. But damn near everyone has one of those. WoopDeFrigginDoo! laugh.gif
