Just would like some input from any Computer people here.
Im currently doing a computer course, I have my elective coming up. I have a choice of : COBOL yuck! (even though I got great marks in the intro) C (that was ok) VB and Java
Im leaning towards doing Java or C. Which one do you thinks the best choice? Any insights into any of them(I have done intros to all of them and am currently doing the java intro before I choose my elective)
thx

I would suggest Java.
If possible get some training in C or C++ b4hand as that will make it possible for ya to get to know the concepts of programming in an easier enviroment. Such as u r not using classes to start up with C or C++ but get introduced to em later on. The very same classes aree used in Java programmin. Also syntax etc are very similar between these 2 languages.
I falied my first try in Java due to lack of knowledge in classes and how to use em, epand em, update em etc
