But dude alot or people do care were comparing cars here its looking at mods and performance and alot of stuff. As u may or may not know for a young guy buying a car it is important to know if your car has better performance than sum1 elses and what all the problems are and who can beat who for a lot of us that are buying a fast new car all this stuff is relevant and useful |

Fair enough, then keep it on topic....
As you know all cars are different, so just because you beat 1 VN doesn't mean you can beat them all or vice versa.... so let's not generalise the issue.....

| yeah I know that 100% mate all im saying it a tx5 with a few mods is quicker than a standard VN Thats all. Im also happy to say turbo cars arent for everyone and having a vn is alot cheaper and ya probably getting better value for money (as parts are usually cheap). but hey I like my turbo cars and a hi-flowed tx5 turbo running 12-15psi with exhaust and chip is pretty quick. Im sure you'd agree |

13 Second Quarter!!! This I would like to see and with a 7.7 0-100kmh time it must really produce some mumbo in higher speeds as. To do a 13 second pass it would have to be doing over 160kmh. I would say go out on the open raod and time your car and come back and tell us how long it took to reach 100mph(160kmh). This must be about the best use of 168 horses I have heard of and in a heavy car as well. This has got to be a joke or you should front up with some evidence of either whats under the bonnet or a timeslip. Its cases like this that knock the truthful ones out of the rankings. |

zorb_rules you clearly have a different view on cars to me
you talk about a modded TX5 beating a VN. Wow a modded Hyundai (like the one at summernats, twin supercharged V8) will beat a stock VN too, what are you trying to prove?
go to the streetcommodores sight and look at the turboed VN, it runs 11 seconds, which proves that quite clearly that your car with a few mods is slow vs a VN with a few mods.
PLX us right, VN's are fast stock, unlike your small engined "turboed" car which is not.
so what if you car is quick, his VN would be quicker with the same mods.
bottom line is, i like plx's car, i have a VN too and i like his car.
your small engined off the topic car, i dont like, too small (in every way, other than price)
dont take it personally it just annoys me when people think they have the best car in the world when clearly you dont.
dont take offense, im purely sharing my feelings with zorb.
awesome PLX, its gonna be a sad day when you sell it eventually.

MY small engined turbo car stock still ahs more power than your vn stock...your just another vn person me and plx sorted this shit out a long time ago. grow up and get a life. and price my car cost 6,000 ya can buy a half decent vn for 4,000..and ill shwo you a number of sites to prove it if need be...but look i dont care.....go annoy someone else please |

im sure it was turbo. it had turbo written on the back in red under where the boot meets (i saw it as i pulled up to the lights), it also had a rice off valve.
having said that (and im not having a go here, so dont get angry) a bigger engine does make a difference at high speeds so regardless the higher we got the more i wouldve closed him down (if he hadve kept up)
to be honest i did see that sticker but it may not have been turbo, just because it looked fairly riced up, which meant it couldve been a fake blow off valve, but i doubt it
i went to have a look for some power figures and youll be impressed to know that if you search for "tx5 turbo" on google yours is the first one that comes up
your car isnt too bad for what it is, but personally i enjoy the comfort and reliability of my Holden.
hey as you said its what you like, i just dont think you should knock the VN, cause they are good fast and cheap (although you did admit that)
also just a side note on some prices you threw around then.
you spend 6 grand on a telstar tx5 turbo. i spend 3200 on a VN (how much mine cost) if then put the remaining 2800 in to the VN it will beat your stock tx5 turbo. now tell me which is the better option?
final point you spent way moree than a grand on mods, lying makes baby jesus cry, dont be embarrased we all do it. |

| OKay now look at this ive spent 6grand on my telstar how much was on appaerance how much was on mods taht enhance power..aporx 4,500 on apperance shit approx 1,500 on performance shit they only things taht really help to increase power on my car are the boost controller, the exhaust and the turbo rebuild..there mods actually the turbo rebuild isnt the hi flowing eis so Ill reduce that number to say mmm let me see the cost of the hi flow 200bucks the cost of the boost controller approx 120 and the exhuast 7-800 which equals my magic 1000dollars number ohh holy hell im right. |
