Vehicle: 1989 Mazda MX-6 FE3 Turbo
Location: United States
Profile Created: January 28, 2003
Owner Comments: The car has no HP/Torque numbers as of yet.(before the complete fuel system upgrade,3inch exhaust, final tuning and on only 8-10 psi the car was running trap speeds of 105.47mph)
Soon the car will be on the dyno. This motor is still running the stock 9.2 compression pistons, the only internals that have been touched is new rings.
-------------------- Yes it's a turbocharged FE3, (soon on the bottle) and NO you can't drive it WARNING: Does not play well with others (it seems others have a problem with losing) My Beast

You should get the trophy for this year's most improved MX-6 redneck. I can remember such a short time ago she was just another mild mannered 1st gen 4x4 (if you happen to consider the F2t torque monster mild mannered ). I applaud your jumping into the FE3 project so intensely. It's refreshing to see someone doing it right and not to half assed. Gotta get her on a dyno soon!

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. And yes she has come a long way in the last year, and she will continue to go further

red hows the beast coming along?
i take it your working on the diff and gearing atm like suggested in other thread, you have an estimated ready time on this, i would love to hear your impressions of the phantom grip lsd as im hanging to get one myself. By the way wat sort of springs did you get with it, apparently there are three types, green (street), red (street/race), gold (race) that offer different properties... |
