So i took the cover off the torry the other day to prep it for the workshop..... (the go date is now thursday and not today as stated earlier, fricken hell evil.gif ) Anywho myself and a couple of mates were giving her a good ol' clean and wax! It is shiny as now but...... There are still water marks and the imprint of the car cover in various spots!(.... it's been under a cover for a long time!) a good cut and polish should bring it up good as new!.... thumbup.gif

....anywho, anyone got any ace ways of bringing up a quality finish or reccommend any products! sorcerer.gif

All Meguires stuff.

Seriously dude, if you use the righ level compound and the right rated pads and towels you'll get it looking like black glass.

But since your a cheap lazy bastard, I recomend the following steps:

1. Basic clean with Soft Gel Wash
2. Paint Cleaner and soft buff. (Very omportant step)
3. Polish and buff. (Do over if there are still marks but the cleaner will get nearly everything out)
4. Wax and buff. (I would do a minimum of 2 coats)

Again, use all Meguires stuff and take you time. I reckon to do this quick version of the correct process would take about a day wit you screwing around all the time. And getting a good buff (with random orbit) is a very wise investment!
