Nice, very nice. Any info on the Tx5 gear set, if ya gotz any would be appreciated. Havin probs lost speedo, cruise and power steering. Looking to rebuild mine. At one stage, I had a boost controller on and had it running at about 13psi, er unfortuately the head gasket was on its way out. Yesm shes been in some shops over the four years I've had er but running good at the mo. Looks like the turbosmart type 2 BOV is popular with the tx5's here. What turbo you running under her? 2 odd years ago the ol' factory standard turbo was cutting the engine off, I figured there was a problem with the waist-g was I right? She was over-boosting to 15pound 132.5hp by the dyno reading, I believe Garretts was the way to go, now she's only around 7pound and of course the hp dropped to 128.1. Haven't had a dyno since then. What are your theories on engine management? Nice set o chromes would look hot on yours.

| Yeah Im currently looking at getting a set on the 17inch chrome ba xr rims... MY turbo is still the current turbo but has been hi flowed with a turbine regrind and an exhaust side porting...as far as EMS going Im hoping to look into that in the enar future for now though my afm has been played with and this has stopped boost cut..up to 13.5-14 psi which is good..At the moment Im just waiitng to install my front mount and am doing a few minor mechancial things such as repalcing the heater core, replacing an engine mount and waiting patiently to receive the mx6 digital dash (at this stage Im hoping to be the first tx5 in oz with one)...but after that will be goign biggger on performance with the EMS and a larger turbo probably a t28 or a a t25... |

Geez man ya car has changed since the last time you brought it down to my shop it seems that its had more surgery than Michael jackson hahaha oh well it looks good man. Havent done much to mine yet coz lately i've just had problems with my temp gauge keeps telling me that its overheating but its not so i got everything tested and its got every electrician/mechanic baffled coz no ones what the hells wrong with this thing. i was gonna put slotted rotors on mine and new plates on but probably do that after my trip to Sydney. Plus i have a guy from the EPA who comes in and buys stuff off me telling me that they do spot checks at ppls home now so be careful with the mods otherwise you're toast man okies

No differnce at all with the catch can I dotn even have it in there anymore all it does is helps to reduce blow by...and prolong turbo and engine life (allthoguh at this age its not gonna help with that unless you've rebuilt and engine or turbo)..theres no performance benefits. As far as rear sway bar its the standard one the mx6 has in it (1st gen model) just grab one out of that..otherwise I believe whiteline make a full set of front rears etc...
Also just thought you'd all be interested to know I know have a digital dash for my car (am just installing it now) and Ive also got and aftermarket piggy back processor for my ecu (chiptorque xede) once its installed I belive ill be the first tx5 in australia running with an xede...thanks to nispro |

| just incase any1 comes across the same problem with the greddy turbo timer for the tx5 the speed signal wire is located : under the steering column , you need to remove the air-con duct and there will be a black 13pin plug which should be connected to nothing ,then its the green wire with red running through it. |
