does anyone know where ya can buy performance Cams for a 90 MX-6 GT
How much do they cost? and do they give much of a power gain? |

not sure exactly where you can get them but from my understanding there are other areas of the engine that will respond better to other modz... F2T is very restrictive in terms of head flow so before trying to force more air in with the cams maybe some flow increasing head work will be the way to go and some changes to the intake piping, ideally though you would upgrade everything  |

my friend has a 90' tx5 same engine, he just spent $8000 on internals
forged pistons, shaved crank, new cam and so on.
i will try to find out were he got them from and what they r

the thing with camshafts is you might be chaning where you are making the power
of course even if you left it close ot stock and gave it a logner duratio nyou will be makin more power at those revs as most camshafts are for econ.
but I would only changeit if you have done the rest by porting and polishing th head and have changed turbo and other intake and echaust system as jsut the head work alone will not make much difference but all up will make a massive one.
