Yeah but They don' touch the ROD HOG for other reasons as well they don't touch WRX's and HSV's
I rang them up once for a WRX owned in Punchbowl Sydney we were willing to pay $8000, they wanted Sorry see you later, we then went to an office for them in the city, WE abused we showed them where the light don't shine, then we were kicked out. Young and not cool only for RICE CARS are they cool yes drive a RICE car they say hello. Drive a real Car they say Piss off age got nothing to do with it.
Shanons did my mates R31 GTS-R Import and he's 22 and oly cost him $4000 but it's got $15000 cover most anyone would give and it went up last week when they inspected it. Got a classic or somthing special take it to them, but onyl if your record is good.
NRMA and AAMI are best if you are not grade 3 or worse.

checked out youngandcool.com - there policy seems pretty shit for any one under 25 with a turbocharged car. 
shannons and justcar insurance is ok i think - tho i haven't checked them out yet- you might wanna try them.
