holden have an awesome answer to the 4cyl hatch class with their opel astra turbo, but if we are talking true holden's then the monaro is hard to beat in my opinion |

But if i had my choice of any GM..... well it would have to be a "1991 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton"... this is my Dream car... and one day i will have enough money to get one from England, one day anywho, heres a pic of one.....
With a Lotus-developed 3.6-liter, 24-valve, twin-turbo in-line six, it boasted a, phenomenal for the time, 377bhp at 5200rpm and an even more impressive, tire-pulverizing, 419lb-ft of torque. Another Lotus creation, the Corvette ZR-1, helped with the donation of its six-speed gearbox. Wheel-arch extensions, spoilers, and five-spoke alloys all helped give this rather mundane looking sedan a real autobahn stormer look.

I am always a big fan of Big cube V8 commodores, and i would think...if i had $200,000 to spent, i would buy an standard monaro, have an HRT 350 UTE WIDE BODY kit to it, have an Chev 5.7 stroked to 7 litre, motec computer, big shot of NOS, maybe supercharge it, targeting output at 700-1200HP, big 20" chrome wheel all around, riding on 275 and 335 wheels. biggest brakes on all 4 corners. car in DARK BLACKISH color. this would be ultimate ride i can think of, from a holden |
