Hey Guys,
Came across this brilliant little game, great idea.. i really suggest you check it out if you enjoy games like gran turismo, street rod series, etc... if you enjoy earning cash.. building up your ride and pulling 7 seconds in a honda civic download it
I downloaded it a couple of days ago and have been pretty hooked on it since. The game is based on drag racing, so basically you start of with minimal funds that will enable you to purchase a new civic si (jap with vtec of course), then its up to you to earn money by either entering draging competitions, draging against computer players and best of all draging against other online players. Controls at first were a little hard for me to grasp.. but this difficulty actually adds to the appeal on the game.. it actually requires some heavy test and good co-ordination to get the car off the line quickly and change gears at the right rpm to get the max out of your beast... of course you can modify and add things like nos which adds to the functions while draging.
at the moment my lil shitty civic has a cat back system, hi flow cat, forced induction turbo (just could afford it) and a lightened flywheel with 100hp nos. This little package is good for around mid 12's using nos from 2nd to 4th assuming you nail the reaction time... (get's a little hard at the start but once you work it out u can really start beating a few ppl).. There are things like maintence you have to take care of and even a dyno where you can run your car on (i put out 211hp without nos )
so guys.. if your into that sort of thing i strongly suggest you check it out, only a 4mb file (zipped), completely free (it seems as tho the performance parts you buy are actually named brands.. so i assume the advertising is funding this project) and well worth the tiny 10min wait on dialup
http://www.nittoracing.com/
go to the link above for the file, might be worth while to check out the FAQ as well.. helped me reduce my reaction time (important if you want cash ) |
