well, my questions are jsut as the topic states.... do you street race? why do you street race? what first got you into street racing.......
heres my story. i was on my way to becoming a sure successful state trooper. yes even at my age, i had already started building up my accreditation. in AFJROTC ( Air Force Junior Recruite Officer Training Corp) for going on 5 semesters. in the Asheville Police Department Explorer Program. and had been shadowing two differant State Troopers on the job. i had my life planned out for the next few years. possibly the next decade. planned on finishing high school ( and still do), going into the armed services, then going otno college for criminal justice, and the likes. and then all that other training you have to do to become a high ranking law official. so i figured around 8 years or a little more, to be where i was wanting to be. until i got into street racing. i guess, the first time i was ever exposed to any type of street racing, was when my mom had first gotten the six in 98'. hell i still remember, the first race in it. it was against a late model Camaro. not exactly sure what year. late 90's. not sure what model, but we beat it. she let up when we got to almost 90. then my passion started growing for the six. and street racing got into my blood. the surge of adrenaline racing through your veins, at the thought of racing another vehicle. then i realized that, hey, theres no way in hell, that i can street race, and become a state trooper at the same time. breaking the laws, that im out enforcing everyday. so i decided to go with treet racing. not too sure why. because, look at the advantages and disadvantages that each of the two pose. its quite obvious to see which one would be the best logical path to choose. so ive decided, that maybe, i could become an MP (Military Police). i could still keep up the street racing. afterall, the only jurisdiction i would be able to enforce is on-base. so its not like i would be breaking any of the laws that im going to be enforcing. so the way i see it, my plans may still have some hope for them. and maybe, someday, ill get out of street racing. and be able to live out my dream. ive said that i wanted to be a 'powice officew' since i was 3. and then to have one little change blow it up. its like an addiction. that i kinda wanna get rid of, but then again, i dont. so anyway. if anyone has anything to add, that would be great. tell us about your story with how you got into it. thanks for taking the time to read all this.
