would it be possible to put the head of the mazda 6 /Atenza 3,0l V6 in my MX-6 2,5l???
The Atenza 3,0l V6 has 220PS, I would like to have them in my MX-6 V6, too!
Would it be possible to change only the head and the computer or have I to change the whole engine??? |

The two engines are totally different, you'd have to do a complete swap. Don't know fully how hard it would be.

well heres what needs to be done.
1) chex the size and waeight of the engine. 2) do a search to find the parts you would need to do the swap. 3) hopefully u have alot of knowledge on what ur doing.

It'd probably be easier to throw in the millenia type-s engine, basically the new gen 626 - and hella power with nice boost options. Never heard of anybody doing it, but it'd be fun to try.

Theres problems with putting the miller cycle engine into the mx6 even though its only 2.3ltr issues include : hood clearance etc. Not sure if theres enough room.
