| i tried doing the led in the stock plugs and the light covers but ford (or mazda) have mixed a green tinge into the "white" writing therefor anything behind the dials are not going to work ive got two blue neons shining down onto the front of the dials to light them up, simple, except you cant see any red so no redline, no empty on fuel and no hot on the water guage. |

| got my new motor yesterday first thing i found was a larger throttle body in the throttle body there is two butterflys the top can open before the other and in the Aus NA throttle body the top butterfly opens cosiderably before the bottom one and the top one is smaller than the bottom 41mm-44mm in my new throttle body the top is larger and doesnt open that much before the bottom 47mm-41mm there is only 3mm differance in the whole lot Aus 41+44=85 and Jap 47+41=88 but it might make a differance i hope |

| well last opil problem i had on my car took em enalry two weeks to get rid of all the spoke before the engine and exhuast were right again..this was when my turbo blew...apaarently oil builds up on the muffler and cat which starts to burn adding twice as much smoke so it could just be reminants...i know my mates was so bad he had to remove the muffler. they cut it in half and it was chock a block full of unburnt oil. |

well dude, all that 'getting a new car when i get a full time job' talk is over. i got a new job yesterday and it's giving me an extra $300 per week. and what does that mean, you say? well, it means that in 6 weeks time i will have my parents paid off and then 3-4 weeks after that i will have an Fe-DOHC sitting in my garage this is if all goes to plan. usually i cant save for peanuts, except when i really want something. and i REALLY want this! i've wanted to do this for a long time, and now it may finally happen. i mean the motor will be sitting in my garage gathering dust until i can save up the cash for the engine management system and the labour to wire the motor up and tune the EMS (putting it in can be done without the help of a mechanic cos it just bolts straight in exactly the same as the f2) but that doesnt matter cos once it's sitting in my garage i'll be motivated to work my ass off to get the cash to get it into my car.
this isnt another one of my 'ideas'...this could actually happen! and when it does i'll have more power than a stock standard f2t...and because i've already got the gearbox in my car, nothing else needs replacing Booyah! |

gearbox is in now its a bit weaker than my old one, i can feel it through the accelerator and clutch and especially through the shifter, plans are to repair the old one and strengthen it with (ahem) TURBO (ahem) parts
with the dash its a light sanding followed with a spray plastic primer and then spray paint form autobarn the cans are only $10 each. if your going to do it, take the parts out and do them individually
the paint is called powerplus its good i used it on my front grille, it used to be red, |
