If you look at my pics in my profile, and you open up the engine bay pic, you'll see that I have a T piece just above the turbo outlet. It then have mine mounted off that. There's another pic that shows how it mounts in there also.

It's good to see that your keen on modding your TX5. I'd advise against removing the resonator, and the cat. Just get high flow items, which come in a larger sizes. Good to hear that the exhaust helped with performance.

OKay well now Ive officially had it first the unfittable bov and now this.. Well today my heater core busted I had water pissing onto the floor on the passanger side. I re-routed the water to skip the heater and stuff (u know the usual trick) but now I have no bloody heater and it the middle of winter. I spoke to my mechanic and he reckons between 3-500 and 500 bucks to replace cause of all the labour envolved (removing dash panels and re-wiring speakers and stuff) so thats totally screwed the rest of mod ideas up cause im fully out of cash. Wat a shit.

HEy I was just talking to a mate about fitting a cold air intake to my car when we poped the hood there seems to be an air flow sensor or something that runs to/from my air filter box. When I install the air intake will this stuff the computer up and change my cars engine management system or will there be no efeect?

The ECU's in these cars, have a memory sort of thing. It will seem like it hasn't done much when you first fit it. You'll notice things like boost come on about 200-300rpm earlier. Reset the ECU by disconnecting the neg terminal on the battery, depressing the brake pedal for 30 sec, connect the neg terminal again and then let it idle (without touching the accelerator) for 1 min.

It won't bugger anything up. Just leave you Air flow sensor connected.

Hey guys 2 things since your all so helful and all:
1. Lately when my car has been idling in reverse or just before I am about to take off in drive Ive been getting a bad vibration through the car at first I thought it could be an exhaust bracket or somethin loose but it could be the transmission as well. Any suggestions? I dont think the transmission has beenm serviced for a while and when its really cold it does slip a bit between gears. Could my gearbox be stuffed?
2. I just got a Monza POd filter for free off a mate who didnt want it in hes car as I am just about to install a cold air intake would this sit best at the front of the intake or back at the filter box?

if you install it down front in your front bar, it will intake a lot of air, increasing your kw more than it would at the air box, because downt there is the point where you intake the most air...

i would highly suggest not working about any cold air intake or things like that if u have just installed a $20 buck monza pod.....
tests have shown that them and other cheaper pod have little to no effect on the car wat so ever...... u would have more increase in power if u fitted a cold air intake to ur original airbox........
i would suggest removing the pod and fitting a apexi or K&N air filter.....monza is a waste of time and money.......
cheers

Quick question Ive finally been able to install my BOV its a turbo smart type 1 I was just wondering though it doesnt make any noise when my car actually changes gears. why is that? IS it cause its an auto? I know it works though cause if I accelerate quickly then remove my foot off the pedal it'll sound but not actually when chnaging gears. Any suggestions?
