| Yea ive heard a few choice things about this guy from a few people used to own a falcon that had close to 100 grand put into it and and it never did any better then a 11.4 he liked blowing motors in that as well , looks like he is going the same way with this rex after a couple blown turbos gearboxes and now a couple of motors heard he is on his third intercooler and he has only had the thing just over a year so some big dollars blown on that now and it hasnt run any better than a high 12 should of stuck with the falcon! But i suppose when you have nana picking up the tab it doesn't matter. Usually these are the guys that are cocky little smart arses who dont have any respect for thier cars and anyone else since their not paying for it! |

He still had the Falcon when i last spoke to him it had run an 11.3. He is not a bad bloke. All of Townsville will hear about this now that is all, coz everyone listens to him, not the best for business...

well for starters
the white vr4, is 1 of my best friends. i don't think i should tell yous whats wrong with it or what it's got but i will anyway.
he put it into crawford mechanical and they fucked him around for 4 months, got a $12000 bill, for a 350 hp turbo, large front mounted ic, 3inch custom piping, lynx plus computer, and a custom manifold.
all went well for him untill the mechanic at crawfords (mick) blew 5th and reverse getting chased by the cops! and cracked a weld in his manifold!
the manifold was 1 of the shitiest i have ever seen.
so know it is back in the shops, u might see it getting around soon
beware as it is quick! 
second of all i have known brownie for a few years now and his car is fucking quick!
i won't say what he has in it, as he doesn't want ppl knowing.
but he wasn't running high boost as he needed new injectors , as they were maxing out. so he got his forged pistons and he fucked something and some turist ran into him! so if any1 is going to talk shit on these 2 cars i would think again
1. as they r my friends!!!
2. they r probably one of the two fastest cars on townsville!!

I agree I do like Browny, and I know alot about both his cars, I have had a bit to do with him and yes his cars are very quick. He has helped us out a lot with drag techiniques at the strip. I don't think anyone has said that his cars are crap. How fast is this VR4?? Will it be a good run for Ash's which pulls 12's? I carn't believe that poor bloke got charged 12k, that just isnt right.

Yes, what kind of power is this VR4 doing?
I'd be happy with a 12k invoice for a rooted gearbox and cracked manifold....

| The white VR4 is putting out a mere 130kw@wheels. It will be good for low 13's at best which in my opinion is not one of the quickest cars in townsville. |

| by the way I am from rockhampton, but visit townsville regulary. Have seen alot nicer and faster cars than that VR4. I know the guy who used to own it but I won't mention any names. We would have been better off getting an evo 3/4 front cut and just replacing the turbo on that. Would have a 12 second car for half the price he spent now. |

whats the go with crawfords cause he tried to fight me cause of things that were said on performance forums. A great way to run a business  . Must be the pressure getting to him from the court cases i have heard about. All i can say is I hope all goes well for the victims of his bullshit |

orgy put out 180kw atw and when he gets bigger injectors and fuel pump it will be over 200 kw atw (vr4)
well i just put cold air from factory air box (uni filter) directly to my front bar
so it should run better now
don't know if i should get a chip, or some blinging 17's????????????

I am not aware that anything too bad if bad at all was said on PF about crawford. Howvere what is said on the streets is some serious stuff, even thou i don't know if its true or not and i am not judge that as none of us is. No rumor throwing please. I'd like to see this dropped and refocused on topic. Since the easter cruise is over i am tempted to close this thread if it keeps going like this ...
