The 1971-72 Vanishing Point was first out. I remember the actors face{Gene Barry look-alike] and that he drove a Challenger and possibly a Charger. Me mind is gettin old and feeble. Other good chase flicks from 1966-67 is "Bullitt" and Steve McQueen. Also one I just seen from 1974 was with Peter Fonda called Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. They totaled two 68 Chargers and a 69 Charger making the movie.

hi.
i think this poll asks us what car chase in a movie blew us away.. i think it's not about real drivers or graphically enhanced movie scenes. it's about the car chase that would have our heartbeat racing. its the car chase that would make us piss our pants if we were ACTUALLY IN one of the cars..
i choose matrix reloaded car chase.. have you guys even seen that movie? 2FAST2FURIOUS? THATS THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE ABOUT CARS
