Yeah i must admit there are some nice ones ou there! A saab in England is generally regarded as a poor mans luxury! but last time i was over there my Dad was lookin at buying a convertable! (mid life crisis)... We looked accross the range from beamers to mercs and renaults! and Saab believe it or not was one of the most expensive! huh.gif

i like the mags! cool.gif i guess i could see myself cruising down the coast in that! blush.gif don't tell anybody i said that! icon4.gif still think they need to forget all about the original shape, especially from the arse end and just go for a new design all together~ i suppose the shape is what makes them stand out from the crowd! its like vegemite..... LOVE IT or HATE IT.....

What Saab didn't mention is that they had to make their cars able to take a massive impact because they insisted on selling cars that had too much power and appalling handling (the 9000 turbos, etc.). Result? If you're cornering quickly and anything happens you're screwed. You have no chance of getting out of trouble. You'll be in a field (if you're lucky) before you can blink!

I'm sure they're a lot better these days though. They'd have to be!

im sure these days every turbo model is equipped with front and rear sway bars and electronic suspension, etc etc...

I was actually after one of the earlier 90 model Saab 9000 CD's here in aust before i bought the mx6 simply because it was a great sleeper, has potential in terms of appearance and even more so in the performance department (stock capable of 14.9 and comes with an electronic boost controller stock lol).

Unfortunately since owning the mx6 and realising how unsatisfying FWD can be i dont think ill ever get one smile.gif
