Hello,
has anyone attempted a turbo conversion on the 4efte: If so can they explain in detail or even pictures :
Swaping the ct9 for some thing bigger, any changes to computer, fuel pressure reg, ect.

I know it is a certain possible conversion. I would think you would need a new computer and a whole heap changed over. I believe the starlet actually came out with a turbo motor?? Why not search for one and go from there would be a heap easier and cheaper TRUST ME!!

Hey, thanks for the reply. but i actually have done the conversion: 4efte which is the turbo motor. the shitty turbo which is the ct9 i would like to change to a gt28 bb. if there is any one who has swapped the turbo. could they please help cheers shane |

I dont see why it wouldnt be possible... All you should have to do is have the turbo avaliable and get everything else custom made so the turbo goes straight on. Go see an engineer or engine builder and they will be able to do the work for you if need be. Myself and a mate were going to fit twin T4's to a V6 Commodore Ute but the cost for the motor upgrade as internals even though we had/have the turbos avaliable.
