As far as the manufacturer specs, Holden deliver the Holdens in a police pack (nothing new), thee is no added extra's frm the factory in the engine department. However I have seen a fair lot with cold air intakes visible But I haven't seen any on the VX or VY series yet.
They dont really need the extra power anyway..the VY s2 has 245Kw and the XR8 260kw. |

Well Obviously the Handling of a commodore that weighs more is bigger and also rear wheel drive is going to handle differently to a Subaru WRX around corners thats obvious how could you compare that to a WRX to know if it was modified. The reason and also due to cost that police dont need moded cars these days is because once the chase gets a certain speed it is terminated if they have there number plate thats all they need these days the cops can call in someone else further up the road, the police are not expected to risk there life for a chase and have got in trouble for it before when they chased a kid that stole a car, he crashed and died but the police were blamed for it. There is actually mods from factory for police cars these days and it only in the form of wiring that is pre put in or its done in Pre deliver and this is for the radios and lights. This might sound funny but the police paddy wagons because they get standard Hiluxes actually get Monster tachos installed in there cars there are alot getting around in Darwin |
