NOS is great but unfortunately i dont think my internals could handle it... im running a larger turbo which should get me around 300 - 350 hp and with stock internals its going to send them to oblivion
Ill see if i can target some NOS freaks and con them to come in.. it would be really handy to have a few knowledgable ppl in this field
atm droopz looks like your the most educated in this field.. |

if its done right van im sure the internals can handle a 100hp nos.. assuming he currently has stock output... engines should be able to deal with an extra 50% no worries well it all depends.. but generally id say so |

when you purchase any quality kit from a N2O suppliers, anyother mods required are very clearly listed.
For example, NX state that my engine (350 Chev L98) with all the IROC-Z upgrades can handle 150hp shots without any mods. However to go any higher one would need to upgrade fuel pump, retard timing and use colder plugs. To get REALLY seriouse 200hp+ you'd really need to look at forged inturnals.
Even though ive done most of these mods anyway i still am only running 100hp shot. Another thing to keep in mind, the more modified your engine is the less gain youll get from N2O and the more dangerous it is.
Most 4s can take small shots of gas without any probs but the injection and fuel mamagment systems can sometimes be very touchy. Best get specific details for your exact car...

mx68u Just to let you know Jay B ran an upgraded turbo, exhaust, K&N and some other things. Anyway to the point on this F2T he was spraying a 125 shot.
Said the car handled it just fine

Need to be careful lot to over do the nos, its like over clocking a computer, sure u can make it fast, but for how long? u can always feed more HP, until it blow up, play with in the limit, and stick with recommandation so u dont regret it later. (do not go beyond the recommandation written by the manufacturer. |
