A Calibra!!!! wicked, these are one of my favourite cars!..... going on 7 years ago when i lived in England my Dad owned a Vauxhall Calibra, It was Black cool.gif, had full leather interior with the two front seats being heated! Excellent for those frozen morning lifts to school! Now i'm not sure but i'm pretty positive it was a 6cyl, couldn't say it was Turbo... but it may have been......? it was a 6sp too! Might search on the Internet for some clarification! i know it was a super car though! and i've wanted one ever since smile.gif

I was even looking at buying one b4 i bought my commy, but they were a bit too pricey!!!!! huh.gif Still plan to own one, maybe next car icon4.gif

I saw a silver one up here the other day! (Darwin) had an HSV badge on it??????? ohmy.gif whats that all about?

Cool Kits and check out the lights!

Thankyou for your post. They do also come in a 6 cylinder version, which is not 4x4 or turbo, Some Calibra's were imported, mostly the turbo's, but the rest are made in australia by Holden, which may explain the HSV badge. They weren't a HSV, but those stickers are pretty cheap to buy i guess!

Limited runs of a v6 calibra were tried in australia before their release, HSV modified one to a hsv spec v6 which only came in a manual and had sunroof an all the stylings, sellin roughly 200 to the australian public as a HSV 2 door... the silver one is and wears hsv identification tags in the engine bays jordy.... As for the turbo ones an the rest they were imported cause the calibra didnt take off as much as holden thought it would down under smile.gif
