when it was rebuilt i had a bigger cam put in along with the flat top pistons.it has a 2.5 inch exhaust from the cat back with standard headers.going to get some extractors and maybe a new muffler soon and see if it makes a difference.i think the commodores of that era made 165kw at the flywheel,at a guess id say mine would make 180kw maybe?? plans for the future after the exhaust upgrade are maybe a bit of head work and cam change plus a gear ratio change in the arse end.going to put on a 100hp nitrous kit once everything else is done |

Got my extractors fitted last week. Reckon its picked up some power. See how it goes at the drags when they start again.Goin to get a 2500rpm stall convertor fitted soon, see if that helps.Going to add 100hp nitrous and 3.55.1 gears in the diff shortly.Aiming to run a mid 13 sec quarter.Once i hit that i'll be happy so i guess i'll keep spending till it happens!! |

Nice ride Rupaxx! I sold my VN SS about 3 years ago had owned it for only 2, I had the same thing some serious gearbox and driveline problems. I have got myself a series 1 VR SS now and have done some light tuning, remapped the computer and fitted cold air induction and and SS inductions exhaust sytem, putting out a little over 192kw at the moment. I am planning to get some pics and stick it on the site soon. |

Nice VN. I've seen you around and the thing sounds awesome. I hear you've converted it to a manual? |

| Nice to see a few V8s on here. I would think that with the mods that U have done that it should piss it in for 190/200 kw, the 180kw clubsport etc only had cold air intake, exhaust and ecu tune. |
