Hey all... picked up a 3rd gen Motorola phone with the video messaging and stuff. Wicked phone!
Just wanted to see if anyone else has picked one up coz ive got $30 of video msgs every month for free. And not many of my friend have picked one up yet so i figured id meet some of the guys here...

I got the Motorola A830. Its awsome. The only thing i would change in the ringer isnt really as loud as it should be. But its the only phone that takes stills at 640 x 480 so its cool.
Got mine through "3" and got a second one half price. Wicked huh? And coz this model DOESNT support live video chat, i get $40 worth of video messaging a month...

All my mates have them phones but me contract does not runout till next year.
One of my mate has that Small Nokia one and the other one has the bigger one with the bigger screen, sorry two o thme have that phone.
another has the video one from sony/Erricson Imported from O/S
It's not fair in my opinion I am still stuck with my older phones.
I use to buy phones lots of time I coudl get them new and cheap bakc in the day but well, Don't see the use in forking out $500 for a phone anymore.

because im such a poor bastard i can only afford the bare minimum when it comes to mobile phones 
I recently lost my siemens s45 or whateva it was, it had minesweeper!, so i went of an purchased one of them expired pre parid starter kits they sell at strathfeild so i can get mobile again. Cost me $50 and i managed to swindle another $50 worth of calls with operator. Phone is a bone stock "sagem", french, pretty funky, just a bit on the biggish side but its pretty good for $0. Also has hands free speaker phone integrated 
considering the options and the capabilities of this phone i dont think ill be sending or receiving any video messages from you droopz anytime soon  |
