anyone ever driven one of the new ones? new shape not older shape
these cars have some mean stats
0-100 in 6.4 secs with a top speed of 146mph
148KW this thing is super quick...remember honda dont need turbo's to produce this...... 
and all this on 95ron fuel... yeah thats right normal unleaded
these things eat the superseeded integra type-r (guess thats why it replaces it)
they look quite mean also
im tempted to sell my VTi-R and get one..one day
anyone know if the motor will fit into the 1998 VTi-R's engine bay...maybe an engine plant for the future

isnt normal unleaded around 91ron? premium 94-95 and "high octane" 98ron.. could be wrong but thats wat i thought 
I remember a video that had the new civic in it, apparently they are 2litres i think and have heaps more torque then the older models so they pull through-out the rev range pretty well but when that vtec cuts in.. well you know all about that... seems like a very neat package... shame they took a backward step in design... well thats my opinion anywayz
would be a great engine upgrade!! |

yeah it is a 2 litre
and yeah ur right premium unleaded is 95ron normal is 91ron my mistake
but still most imports and sports cars need 98ron that u get from optimax
what video?? where
i actually like the look of the type-r
i mean the new model civic's look shit but they did a good job making the type-r look mean thats for sure

| yeh im very impressed with the new type-r civic (european version)..by judging by a segment on video courtesy of best motoring (luv it!) the civic almost does everything a indy car would do.. it is just awesum. handling is second to none has even got large brembo brakes for fast stopage. seems to be very good drivability tho engine mounts seem to be a problem especially at high speeds. just cant wait to see the jap version come out..it will be nice. |
