Picture this i am not blow assing and telling you lies haha
i do have pictures for proof just not yet
I set about to create something different in sports cars and you all say yeah yeah i seen it before.
My inspiration came from the ocean and as my celica evolved in front of my eyes i just kept with the them of the predator from beneath.
Im not usually into art but for some reason the 1991 celica really looked to me like a Shark.
the front bar has a gaping hole like the jaws of the whale shark and as i continued my way up the front i added a pair of Ford XR8 flutes to vaccuum the hot air out
this is where physics come into things you see its easy to have grills,grates,vents,slots,holes,scoop,burrows,letterboxes
but are you serving a purpose?
Well many modifyers would say oh who cares about the massive wing on my MY99 WRX
but what does a wing do ? it creates down force or lift now if you race your car strictly 1/4 mile the wing could help!
but is it set at the right angle to continue the downforce through corners?
back to my flutes as air passes over the bonnet the hot air is extracted from the engine bay over the car.
So to this i say there is no cool air coming in ! so i took the angle grinder polished up on my pythagorus theorum and sliced 2 slits in the bonnet
so what? well if you physically push and bend the metal you create a set of gills or i called it the ray effect cos it looks like a stingrays mouth add some bog to the corners fibreglass the back and voila!
in my future posts ill discuss extreme Modification and other techniques used to create a show class vehicle
from wheel and tyre mods,paint,glass,artwork, its all fun and games and its all discussed here.
