Well this mostly effects Aus/NSW people but maybe of a some help and may stop you from losing your licence like I sort of have Okay NEWS bit is Cops now can use there own Cars for Undercover use. They may only be fitted with a Radio or even all the way to a full setup.
Cars I have noted that are very different and may scare you we were went we were doing 130km/h and were passed by a car then a Undercover surprise Cop car.
HOLDEN VL Turbo (were used when new) shocked sounded good but Toyota Corolla new and recent models, don't think they woudl catch me but I know they would get the plate Camrys and Magna's well I have had the So called watch boys follow me Mazda 626 SAD I know late 80's Mercedes was surprised to see the light on my rear, lucky not my car nad lucky I lost him. Of course we know WRX but more Forester GT's have been Seen HSV's mostly Clubbys /R8's Statesman Type R Honda : No Joke
The Big one's No.1 Hyundai accent Mate ran from him with out going faster his mate had it all on video tape we never went over the limt just out drove the Excel. Pulled him over tryed for everything 1 day in court Everything dropped and an investigation on the Officer No.2 1987 Model Mistubishi Magna Elite in silver lucky was not me but mate saw it all chassing some cordia turbo on the M5.
How to spot. well it's hard when behidn you but look at the dash and for black box with red and blue stobes inside or fornt of it, these can also be fitted onto the visor and on Wagons be fitted to come down so you can't see from behind much. From behind is best as you can see the box on the back self. Look for a Pc screan in side the car as well this will help I you come flying up behind one of these cars and they notice back off or take the next street exit what ever get away as quick as possible. Don'take many risks and don't speed much when doing so, I have done this many a time. My secret whenb you are in an area you don't know think grid of blocks left left right right what ever. at night lights are a good thing to turn off. Night tiem helps in the viewing of the screen inside on the passenger side of the car. watch for these.
See anything different update right here my good friends

Rod awesome post man it reminds of when i was about 16 driving to Kiama which is the South Coast of NSW, we had a Ford falcon XF station wagon and all of a sudden we see this porsche zoom past and then there are sirens and this piss ant little fugen VW Beetle comes top speed past us with the black box lights on his dash!!! Couldnt believe it
Another car is a white Pajero 4wd which is undercover and patrols from canterbury rd at the haedware house to the end of newbridge rd at lazikos formerly red rooster.
i once dragged these 2 guys in a vk commodore they had HDT jackets on and vb baseball caps but the killer was they had RED P plates on (before Green were invented) they G'd me up and we hit but at 90km and they backed off and pulled down the visor and BOOM!!! pulled me over
They only gave me a caution and the mandatory bullshit like *oh you know we couldnt keep up with you* alright fuck wit ! i am in a Datsun 200B 1.6 4 banger pre fj20turbo
So yes the police are allowed to break the law to make the it sux i know but what can you do

The most amazing undercover police car i have ever seen was at kiama it was a VW Beetle i shit you not he pulled over some commodore on the higway
get this i was on canterbury rd at revesby Maccas and this moroon VK come up next to me P plates and 2 dudes with holden caps on and standard Oz garb
they G me and we blast off the lights i hit about 90 and they pull the visor down and pull me over FUKN COPS
They can break the law to make the law
Also keep an eye out on that rd for a white Pajero
and i have also seen uniformed police on Trail Bikes yes trail bikes not BMW Kawasaki they look mean
