Hi all. Today, I decided to clean the terminals on my car (VL commodore). I put a little water on the terminals as they were slightly corrosive looking. I decided to take off them of the terminals and scrub them properly. The bolts were a bit rusty, so I gave them a squirt with some WD-40 to loosen it up. Now when I start my car...well it just doesn't. The inside lights dim when I touch the breaks or press the button to pop the boot.
My question here is did I simply leave my lights on, or just did I do something simply stupid again?
Maybe some water got somewhere it shouldn't have? WD40- to much of it?
MY EMAIL IS jonodyason@yahoo.com PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks all. |

also make sure you have secured the terminals on very tightly, i once had the same problem certain that my battery was gone coz there just didnt seem like enough power, then after some heavy tightening it worked first go |
