Driving over to a mates house on the hume highway i past this subtle white nissan 200sx (silvia s15) with stocky rims, dark tints and some suspension work. Cruising next to him till the next set of lights making my intentions heard with the loud rumbling of the exhaust its was safe to assume that a run was on...

Lights go green and im slowly on the throttle, enough to keep my nose infront, i do this so if he is going to run it gives me the opportunity to react before he sees me in his rear view, so he finally punches it. Instantly as our noses even out i do the same a ever so slowly start pulling on him, look at the tacho at is rising quickly past 5500rpm so i snap it into 3rd and with my clutch slipping i only get a max boost of around 5 pounds... he just flys past me and i decide to call it quits. As he passes me he quickly over takes into my lane and is hear this mild bang and a shit load of sparks come out of his zorst along with a shit load of black smoke, his cat maybe?

Anywayz i ended up losing but im not too phased, sure his higher gearing helped but in my defence (just like anyone who ends up losing) my clutch is completely screwed so beating him in gear is good enough for me icon4.gif As i rock up to him at the next set of lights i see a nice custom front mount, the guy was also running quite a bit of boost judging by the loud wind up of the gt28 turbo...

Shortly after this gtst decided to give me a go, he punches and i do the same, neither giving an inch traffic approaches that was that, 5 pounds again sad.gif

Now i must say when i was actually pulling from the s15 the car was running around 13 pounds or so, at 5 pounds he would of just chopped me... i seriously cant wait till my boosting issues get sorted and the cars finished, shit its going to be hard keeping my license...

Don't do this too me
I just want my Box to be right
I am only using a max of 10psi o na cold night it's all stock and re-mapped boost curve (very smoth no hard ramp) I am gettign the shits. It's bad enough not having shocks but, you make just want to go out get a Vf34 ( perefect auto and mid-range I am looking for) I am going nuts bro, The worse bit is have to use all of my current income on other things. rolleyes.gif

Don't worry but wait till you get it sorted you shoudl be eating a few guys out there

Sounds like once the issues are sorted out it'll be quite a beast.

So I take it the car got fixed finally.
Too bad the clutch is gone sad.gif Would have been nice to go full throttle for a couple 3 gears. Can't wait to hear how it is with a new clutch

Yes it's a turbocharged FE3, (soon on the bottle) and NO you can't drive it
WARNING: Does not play well with others (it seems others have a problem with losing)

nah red.. the main reason to loosing to the silvia was the lack off boost (its still fluctuating) had full boost in 2nd gear then when i changed i only got 5, which is when he flew by me sad.gif

i outlined the clutch becoz its been shitting me for quite a while, im sure everyone i talk to is sick of hearing that excuse, will have to get it sorted smile.gif

innocent.gif The stupid pedal - the one on the right - in my car gets out of line sometimes. It's like the dog snots in National Lampoon Christmas Vacation "once he starts it's best to just let him finish."

slippery clutches are the worst. mad.gif I feel your angst man.
