yep guys just wondering what you would do on a aftermarket exhaust preferably a 3 inch mandrel bent from back of turbo to reduce or completely get rid of the offensive noise inside and outside of car you hear on most turbocharged cars . Now dont get me wrong guys - "i have nathin wrong or against loud booming exhausts" but personally i'd prefer a nice and quiet one. |

i believe a silencer will fix your problem most definitely but it will lag your performance i mean think about it
to silence means to restrict and you apply a sports exhaust to enhace and set free the flow of out take so ultimately if your restricting your out take then stick with a standard exhaust IMO
or you can ultimately regulate noise with different size and shape mufflers
-------------------- Personally i prefer to insert my nitrous {N20} rectally for the addded head buzz and long lasting effect

yeah my cars got a straight thru muffler one resonator and a factory cat... to reduce the noise a lil more you can go for a more restrictive muffler or alternatively put in another resonator, that will keep the noise down a bit and restrict less than a non-straight thru muffler...
The turbo itself actually does supress the sound quite a bit.. if my car was na.. fark man.. would be heaps louder... My setup can be a little loud at around peak torque but if you keep it below it would be that loud, when your on the freeway for example you just have to find a nice rev, say around 2000 |

sounds like the way to go is regulating the muffler and adding another resonator or simply leave the standard exhaust. |
