looks great evilchief, did you do much of the work yourself?

Hows the ecu handling the new camshaft? further more is much difference in power distribution through out the rev range?

All in all looks great, will be getting rocket cover painted on my car when time comes for a head rebuild, how many k's on the ford, seems pretty dirty huh.gif

Na i didnt get around to do any work myself (besides intsalling new tail lights icon4.gif, but other than that i was too tight up doing uni stuff and walking rolleyes.gif

The ECU is giving me the shits ATM handling like crap, leaning out like a bastard after 3k ,,, ill get a chip and see what happens ...
dunno much about power distr. ... i know it takes ages to rev between 2k and 3k, but as soon i get over that it starts kicking some horsies ...

it had 103000km on it when i did the rebuild ...

today wasnt my most successfull day ... car went in for chipping and tuning and it failed miserably ... huh.gif

at least we got one run done ... untuned, unchipped and timing outa whack .... 117kW at wheel ... AFR jumped up by 1.0 compared to STD, but what ya expect

when teh chip wnet in the car just shutdown and didnt wanna start any more blink.gif wacko.gif crying.gif ...

so back to teh drawing board and new chip to come next week and next try ... the story continues ... blush.gif

wow 117kw at the wheels isnt all that bad evil considering the state of tune!

what happened with the chip??? was it something like one of the powerchip's or something else pre-programmed? I really wouldnt bother with anything like that unless i had a stock car, even then its pretty much a waste of money....

You really need a chip that will enhance tuning, enable them to install, throw it on a dyno and adjust fuel and ignition maps accordingly, that way you can get the most out of your modz and safely, further more any new modz then a retuning is alwayz an option... Chiptorque do a good job with this sort of thing.. bah im rambling, im sure you got a retunable chip anywayz icon4.gif

good luck with the car evil, it should be a mean six when your fueling/ignition is sorted smile.gif

u r spot on with tha chip, thats exactly the chip i have chosen, a custom reprogrammable chiptorque chip, which alter ignition and mapping and who knows what else wink.gif

what else lol i know what you mean.. the guys are so secretive about what they are actually manipulating to alter the fuel and ignition maps.. who knows how they do it.. but as long as its running fine who gives a rats smile.gif

let us know how it goes evil, has that new chip came in yet?
