you coudl put it in but onyl maybe50HP shot and it would not be worth it really.

not only is it illigal to use in most states of Australia and the fine if a set-up is connected on the street goes by cylinders and if FI add's another $5000 in NSW.

Why bother.

The effects are jsut not worth it.

On the strip if you set-up for say a out of whole launch it woudl get the turbo spooling but on stock turbo why.

and topend hit would work okay but the Car's motor and small turbo woudl not cope well with it and it would require AFTERMARKET ECU to work right.

NOS should only be considered for the track as it's benifits are only really seen there.

Unless you want that Fast and furious crap of having a NOS.

Hell I know cars that have Nos but are still nuggest o nthe street sure they pull 12's on the strip with slicks but still I know cars that run 12's day in day out on pump fuel no need for NOS?

Not much better.

best aplictaion woudl be top end hit once into 3rd on a manual or 2nd in an auto and you would get another gear out of it and proberly increase MPH on the line at maybe 10MPH up to 15MPH, times woudl drop 1second as it's said on for a 1.4 mile 10MPH =about 1second.

You could go with a direct port style of nitrous. That way you could hit 150hp with the nitrous. That would be a large difference. You could see a 2-3 second of your 1/4mile. But it will most likley come at a cost. A couple runs doing that kind of shot can kill a motor if its not set up for it..

its quite fun to use NOS if you lack of HP at first place on small engines, your car will feel totally different, pitty there is law banning use of NOS on streets in australia, here in New zealand, there is no such law for banning nos (at least not yet).

generally you would only add 50 -75 hp on the standard small motors, anything more would require internal reinforcement (such as forged pistons, forged conrod etc).

another thing about using nos is it only give u short burst of power (do not run it for more then 20 sec is a safe practice) becuase it will kill ur engine if not used properly.
it is a good idea if you have got a aftermarket computer, activate nos using the computer, it is just to prevent activating nos on low rpm by mistake (engine will die in matter of seconds), or the failure with the throttle switch, plus u can set exactly what RPM u want to activate it.

^^ it is fun to explore the power of nos, but at the same time, play it safe icon4.gif
